Dog training in your own home is essential if your dog’s problem behaviour has developed at home. Some dog owners prefer that I come to them for basic training in the home. Dog Intuition is happy to come to you.

Dog training home visits

The clues for resolving behaviour problems very often lie in the relationship between dog and owner and the way in which you react to the dog in the house. Anthropomorphic interactions can inadvertently reward the very behaviour the owner is trying to correct. During a home visit we can see how the owner behaves towards the dog and the dog towards the owner and suggest ways of correcting any behaviour issues.

Home visits are also essential when dealing with anti-social behaviour issues where a full consultation may be required to understand the problem, ascertain what is rewarding it and then put in place a programme of correction. This consultation will require at least 1.5 hours of your time and then the commitment to follow the programme over the following weeks/months supported by me if you choose.
